Megan Ellen

In short, I am a home decor and renovation addict, a dabbler in creative writing, a loving wife, a tattoo collector, a doting dog and cat mom, a nap indulger, a city dweller, a sarcastic comedian, an annoying older sister, and a horror movie fan.

I started my design work as a young intern for Target Creative in downtown Minneapolis as a senior in high school and I’ve never looked back! At Augsburg University, I worked for the college's design agency D&A. As a designer within this agency, I learned how to juggle multiple clients, including D&A itself. Also during my college years, I was the layout editor for the college publications The Echo, Murphy Square, and Honors Review. I graduated from Augsburg in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and marketing.

Now in my post-grad life, I continued to work with the BOLD Marketing team, as their design manager. I originally started as their graphic design intern back in college, but my role slowly grew over five years. Currently, I am maintaining and managing new clients for The Megan Ellen every day!
